Hosted by Indonesia, 7th World Wushu Championships, with athletes from 18 countries, began today and at women’s sanda 52kg, Iran’s Soheila Mansourian faced Indonesian Hertati and defeated the host country by 1st round KO and advanced to the second round of games.
The competitions continues today, at men’s sanda 65-kg by Jafar Shirzad facing Vietnamese opponent, Hamid Reza Lador fighting with Egypt at sanda 80-kg, and Hamid Reza Gholipour encountering with Ukrainian opponent.
Recognizing the winners, this round of competitions ends tomorrow Friday.
