TEHRAN, June 28 (Mehr News Agency) -- Sixty oil paintings by an Azeri painter, Jamil Mufidzadeh, were displayed in Yassami Gallery of Tabriz on Wednesday.

The paintings depict natural attractions, landscapes, and lives of people form different nations.

Expressing his pleasure on traveling to Tabriz at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Mufidzadeh said: "It will be a great honor for me if the exhibition can develop relations between the Azerbaijan Republic and I.R. of Iran."

The inauguration ceremony of the exhibition was attended by officials from the two countries.

"Holding the exhibition is one of the memorable events in the history of the two nation's cultural relations," said the Azerbaijan Ambassador to Iran, Abbas-Ali Hassanov.
 
The exhibition will continue until June 30 and then transferred to Tehran.
