"The present situation in the region is very sensitive and, while putting aside differences, the Islamic countries should face the current century's challenges and become an active union," he said in an interview with the Mehr News Agency.
The Philippine top diplomat who is here to participate in the 30th session of the foreign ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Countries (OIC), also said that the role played by the OIC in unifying the Islamic countries' view points is very important.
