TEHRAN, Oct. 30 (MNA) – President Masoud Pezeshkian has officially reappointed Mohammad Reza Farzin as the governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

In his decree on Wednesday, the president urged Farzin to diligently work within the framework of the Constitution, aligning with the goals outlined in the 20-year Vision Document and the overarching policies approved by the Supreme Leader.

According to Iranian law, a new president has the authority to change the central bank governor if more than a year remains in their five-year term.
