TEHRAN, Aug. 06 (MNA) – By snatching a bronze medal, Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Amin Mirzazadeh grabbed the first medal for his country in the 2024 Olympics.

Amin Mirzazadeh defeated his rival from Azerbaijan 4-0 in the quarter-final stage and grabbed the bronze medal.

Earlier, Mirzazadeh managed to defeat American opponent Adam Coon 3-0 in the category of 130 kg.

In his previous matches, he lost to his Cuban rival and defeated his opponent from South Korea.
