TEHRAN, May 01 (MNA) – Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry has described the Iranian central city of Isfahan as a city with a high capacity for tourism and trade.

During an interview with the Mehr News Agency on Wednesday, Humaid Mohammed bin Salem discussed the impact of the 2nd conference of Chambers of Commerce of Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) member states in Isfahan on trade relations between Iran and member states.

He emphasized that the Asian Cooperation Dialogue Forum is like an organization and group, which makes it much easier to develop relations within the organization than to negotiate with someone outside of it.

Highlighting the beauty and potential of Isfahan, he noted that the city is a great destination for both tourism and trade.

He further noted that Isfahan enjoys high capacities in the steel industry, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals, adding that the various tools are available to expand economic ties between Iran and the UAE.

The 2nd conference of Chambers of Commerce of ACD member states was held in Isfahan, Iran from April 29-30, 2024.
