President Raeisi made the remarks in a message on Friday in which he hailed the Iranian nations' participation in Quds Day rallies.
Some months after the victory of the revolution, in the month of Ramadan, 1399 (August 1979), the late founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the Quds Day and asked the Muslim world to show their solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and to defend their rights.
Since then, mass marches and rallies have been held in Iran and other countries on this day to show support and solidarity with Palestinians.
Millions of people in Iran and other countries around the world marked the occasion with huge rallies on Friday.
Expressing gratitude toward the Iranian nation for their unity in showing support for the oppressed people of Palestine, Raeisi stressed that the Iranians' epic presence in Quds Day rallies conveyed a clear message to the global arrogance that oppression, fury, and homicide are doomed to failure.
The world will witness the fulfillment of God's honest promise and the destruction of the Zionist regime, he added.
