TEHRAN, Mar. 14 (MNA) – Pakistan Foreign Ministery spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch appreciated Iran's action to release three citizens of this country and ensure the security who were kidnapped by human traffickers during their trip to Iran.

In his weekly press conference in Islamabad, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that 3 Pakistani citizens who fell into the trap of human trafficking elements during the pilgrimage in Iran were freed from the clutches of the kidnappers with the follow-up and immediate actions of Iranian authorities

Praising the continuous and constructive cooperation of Iran, she added that Pakistan appreciates the actions of Iranian officials in ensuring the security of Pakistani pilgrims.

Mumtaz Zahra further added that Pakistan has complete confidence in the capabilities of Iran in dealing with illegal issues.

Pakistan announced in late February of 2024 that this country in cooperation with Iran succeeded in destroying a human trafficking gang, arresting four Pakistanis and rescuing two kidnapped citizens of this country with the help of Iranian security forces.
