Pointing to the establishment of the refining centers for extracting medicinal herbs in the country, Qassem Shakeri said the desire for a healthy lifestyle has spread among people in the world and for this reason, the demand for medicinal plants has also increased significantly.
Iran is one of the countries with a high advantage in the export of medicinal plants, he stated.
He went on to say that Iran’s export of medicinal herbs to other countries has considerably increased since the launch of the refining centers in the country and producing the extract of medicinal herbs based on international standards.
Currently, the extract of medicinal herbs is exported from Iran to European countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Spain as well as India, China, which is a hub of medicinal herbs, and the United States, Shakeri added.
Today, the extracting operation of medicinal herbs is done via an advanced method after the establishment of the refining centers in the country.
