More than 4.628 million tons of domestically-produced goods have been exported from the customs offices of the Iranian northwestern province to the target markets between March 21 and December 22, 2023, registering a 59 and 35 percent hike in value and weight respectively compared to last year’s corresponding period, Abdolhamid Sartipi stated.
They were exported to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and European countries including Turkey, Iraq, Russia, Germany, Italy, and some Arab countries, he told Mehr news agency.
Various types of ferrous and steel products and ingots, different kinds of fruit juices and concentrates, apples, agricultural and horticultural products, office appliances, detergents, and oil derivatives were among the products exported from the provincial customs offices overseas, the official added.
In this period, aluminum alloys, meat products, and ball bearings were the main products imported into eh country via the customs offices of the province from Turkey, Uzbekistan, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and China, he added.
