TEHRAN, Jan. 10 (MNA) – Iran’s new Ambassador to Oman Mousa Farhang has met with Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian before beginning departing for his mission in the Islamic country.

During the meeting, Amir-Abdollahian stressed Oman's important position in Iran's foreign policy.

He also emphasized the Iranian government's firm will to expand all-out relations between the two countries.

Farhang has already acted as Iran’s chargé d'affaires in South Africa and the UAE and the country's ambassador to Tanzania.
