TEHRAN, Jan. 01 (MNA) – Iran national football team head coach Amir Ghalenoei announced a 27-member squad for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.

The tournament will kick off in Doha on Jan. 12, 2024, with the tournament's final set to be played on Feb. 10, 2024.

Team Melli and the UAE, Palestine, and Hong Kong have been drawn in Group C.

Amir Ghalenoei’s side will play Burkina Faso in a friendly match on Jan. 5 at the Kish Island in the Persian Gulf.
