TEHRAN, Dec. 19 (MNA) – Iran’s Food and Drug Administration (IFDA) head, Heidar Mohammadi, announced Iran’s readiness to produce joint health products with Libya during a meeting with the deputy minister of health of Libya in Tehran.

Iran is self-sufficient in production of medicines, medical equipment, food products, cosmetics, and formula, said this senior official at IFDA, adding that Tehran is ready to jointly produce vaccines, medicines, and other health products, as well as transfer technology in the health care industry to Libya.

In the meeting, Deputy Minister of Health in International Affairs Mohammad Hossein Niknam emphasized the importance of health care in the world and said that Tehran is ready to develop cooperation in the field of health with Libya.

He added that Iran and Libya can expand cooperation in joint medicine production, medical equipment, medical research, and medical education.
