TEHRAN, Nov. 26 (MNA) – The Iranian president stressed Sunday the Gazans must decide for the future of the enclave through legitimate Hamas administration, adding that the United States has no right to interfere and make decisions for those people.

In a telephone conversation with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the president of TurkeySunday, Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi emphasized that the people of Gaza should decide for the future of Gaza through Hamas as a legitimate, legal government based on public votes of this area

The president further added, "America has no right to interfere or make any decisions for the people of Gaza, and any action they take in this regard is doomed to failure."

Raeisi described Iran and Turkey as two important and influential countries in the Islamic world and expressed hope that the joint cooperation between the two countries will be a role model of interaction and cooperation for other Islamic countries.

Elsewhere in the telephone conversation, the Iranian president emphasized that the United States is the murderer of the people of Gaza, and described any American interference in the future of Gaza as the continuation of its crimes.

The Turkish President, for his part, emphasized the efforts to upgrade bilateral relations to a privileged and exceptional level after referring to the good and constructive relations between Tehran and Ankara.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also emphasized his country's readiness to hold a meeting of the Supreme Council of Cooperation between the two countries.
