TEHRAN, Nov. 08 (MNA) – A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Ardabil province in northwestern Iran on Wednesday morning.

The earthquake occurred in Bileh Savar at 08:48 local time at a depth of 6 km, according to the Iranian Seismological Center.

The epicenter of the quake was located at 48.31 degrees longitude and 39.36 degrees latitude.

The earthquake was followed by a magnitude 4.3 aftershock at a depth of 22 km.

There have been no immediate reports of possible casualties or damages to buildings so far.
