TEHRAN, Nov. 07 (MNA) – TheSecretary of the Anti-Narcotics Coordinating Council in Sistan and Baluchestan province has said that some 200 kilograms of methamphetamine have been seized during an operation in the southeastern border city of Saravan.

Secretary of the Anti-Narcotics Coordinating Council in Sistan and Baluchestan province has said that some 200 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized from drug traffickers.

Ali Zandi said on Tuesday that the police forces in the southeastern province could identify an armed drug-trafficking gang in the province.

During the operation, 200 kg of methamphetamine was confiscated, he added.

Police also confiscated a passenger car used by the traffickers, he further noted.
