TEHRAN, Nov. 06 (MNA) – The Iranian top diplomat hailed the massive pro-Palestine rallies held in Indonesia in solidarity with the Gaza people and in condemnation of the Israeli regime's ongoing crimes.

"The magnificent gathering of millions of Indonesian people in support of Palestine and the courageous speech of the country's Foreign Minister at this event is appreciatable," Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote on Sunday, to the massive pro-Palestine rallies held in Indonesia in solidarity with Gaza people.

The consensus formed in the public opinion of the world against the Zionists is irreversible.

"Greetings to Indonesia, Greetings to all the awakened consciences of the world!" he added.

The peaceful rally was led by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), the country’s highest Islamic authority. It was supported by the government, as well as Muslim organizations and those of other faiths, including Buddhism and Christianity.

Several ministers and politicians including Religious Affairs Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, former Jakarta governor and presidential candidate Anies Baswedan, and House of Representatives Chair Puan Maharani were present.
