TEHRAN, Oct. 09 (MNA) – The CEO of the Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines reported an email from an unknown person to the Hamburg police regarding the bomb threat on the Tehran-Hamburg flight.

Shamsuddin Farzadipour told Iranian Tasnim News Agency that "an unknown person sent an email to the Hamburg police and claimed to have planted a bomb on the Tehran-Hamburg flight."

He added that, "Currently, the passengers got out of the plane and a series of security measures and checks of the plane and passengers' belongings were carried out."

The plane landed in Hamburg at around 12:20 pm and is now in a special area.

According to a Tasnim report, flights at Hamburg Airport have been completely suspended due to the bomb threat; The spokesperson of this airport said that no flights or landings have been made at this airport since 12:40 pm.
