TEHRAN, Jan. 18 (MNA) – A Pakistan Navy Flotilla docked at Bandar Abbas in southern Iran on Wednesday.

In line with Pakistan's maritime tradition and to further strengthen the existing warm and cordial bilateral relations, a Pakistan Navy Flotilla, commanded by Commodore Muhammad Nasir Iqbal (SIM), Commander Submarines of  Pakistan Navy docked at Bandar Abbas on Wednesday.

Pakistan Flotilla's visit to Iran is aimed at enhancing maritime collaboration between the navies of the two countries. The ships and submarines are bringing warm wishes and a message of solidarity, peace & prosperity to the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the region. 

The port call of Pakistan Navy ships & submarines to the Islamic Republic of Iran is a regular feature.

During the visit, the Pakistani delegation will hold meetings with the Naval, Military and Civil leadership of Iran on bilateral relations at Bandar Abbas.

The port call by the Pakistani flotilla indicates the growing security and defense relationships between Pakistan and Iran. The visit of the Pakistan Navy ships & submarines to Bandar Abbas enables both navies to enrich themselves from mutual experiences and enhance cooperation in future endeavors.
