TEHRAN, May 15 (MNA) – According to media sources, the 24th round of Lebanese parliamentary elections has just begun across the country on Sunday.

The parliamentary election is the first test for opposition movements spawned by an unprecedented anti-establishment uprising in 2019, France 24 reported.

After an underwhelming campaign stifled by the nation's all-consuming economic predicament, 3.9 million Lebanese are eligible to vote when polls opened at 7:00 am (0400 GMT).
