In a decree on Sunday, Ebrahim Raeisi appointed Mohammad Eslami as the new head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI).
Mohammad Eslami was the Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development at the 12th administration.
Ali-Akbar Salehi was the former AEOI chief in the previous adminstration.
