TEHRAN, Dec. 05 (MNA) – The Taliban say 18 people have been killed in a US-led invasion of Helmand, Afghanistan, and that the United States has violated the Doha agreement.

The Taliban announced on Twitter that the United States had launched an airstrike on the Nad-e- Ali district of Helmand province.

Taliban spokesman Qari Mohammad Yousef Ahmadi issued a statement accusing the United States of violating the Doha agreement.

The attack targeted a Taliban base as well as several civilian buildings, killing 18 people and wounding at least three others.
