TEHRAN, Jun. 24 (MNA) – The total volume of water in Lake Urmia, West Azarbaijan Province, has reached 5.19 billion cubic meters as of the beginning of the current water year in Iran, i.e. last September. The water level of the lake, northwestern Iran, has increased considerably in the past two years, thanks to the heavy precipitations and water management projects.
