TEHRAN, Mar. 16 (MNA) – Handicrafts made by artists in Tehran province have reached over $73 million worth in exports in the current Iranian calendar year, started March 2019.

Deputy head of Tehran’s Handicrafts department, Parham Janfeshan, made the remarks on Monday, adding that the exports mainly included glass-related productions, carpets, traditional floor covering ‘Zilou’, stones and ornaments.

The handicrafts made by Tehrani artists have been mainly exported to Turkey, Iraq and Persian Gulf littoral states, he added.
