TEHRAN, Jul. 15 (MNA) – The surface area of the Urmia Lake in north-west Iran has reached 3,231 square kilometers, thanks to the two-month-long springtime showers that began pouring across the country in March. Although the lake has a long way to go before reaching a desirable condition, the water level is currently at its highest in the last 10 years. (Source: ISNA)
