HASHT BANDI, Apr. 20 (MNA) – Southern Iranian regions are facing attacks by a swarm of locusts originated from north African regions. According to officials, the attack may affect some 300,000 hectares of agricultural lands and gardens of the country. Some 45,000 ha have been sprayed with pesticides and efforts are underway to further fight back the plague.
