TEHRAN, Nov. 28 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Swedish counterpart Margot Wallström discussed the regional issues and Sweden's measures in resolving the Yemen crisis.

Zarif and Wallström, in a meeting in Geneva on Wednesday exchanged views on the regional issues, Sweden's measures in resolving the Yemen crisis, cooperation of the two sides in multilateral international affairs, the priority of human rights dialogues instead of selective actions in international organizations and other issues of mutual interest.

The foreign ministers of Iran and Sweden emphasized the need for continued contacts on various bilateral, regional and international issues.

The Foreign Minister Zarif is in the Swiss city of Geneva to attend a ministerial conference on Afghanistan, co-chaired by the Afghan Government and the UN.
