TEHRAN, Nov. 12 (MNA) – Iranian feature film ‘Damascus Time’ directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia will hit the silver screens in Japan’s Tokyo on December 1.

Movie theaters in Tokyo will host a week-long screening of Iranian feature film ‘Damascus Time’ directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia from December 1.

The Japanese poster for the film was also unveiled ahead of its screening in the Japanese capital.

Hatamikia’s feature had been previously screened in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq.

‘Damascus Time’, shot in Iran and Syria, stars Hadi Hejazifar, Babak Hamidian and a number of Syrian and Iraqi actors. It tells the story of an Iranian pilot and his son as copilot who are seized by ISIL forces in Syria as they go to the country to deliver a cargo of humanitarian relief supplies to people in a war-torn region.

Hatamikia won a Crystal Simorgh for Best Director at the 36th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
