TEHRAN, Nov. 04 (MNA) – The resolution read at the end of the nationwide rallies to mark the anniversary of the 1979 takeover of the US embassy in Tehran has voiced strong objection to any talks with the United States.

Iranians in the capital Tehran and more than 1,000 cities and towns across the country took to the streets on Sunday to commemorate the anniversary of the 1979 takeover of the US embassy in massive rallies.

At the end of the ceremony held outside the former US diplomatic mission, also known as the “Den of Espionage,” in downtown Tehran, the rallies’ resolution was read, which stressed the fight against global Arrogance until the complete eradication of the hegemonic order and the arrogant nature of the United States.

The resolution stressed that the nation would succeed in overcoming the current difficult situation through the same high spirit of resistance it has maintained for the past 40 years.

It also called for lack of attachment to “oath-breaking” and “sham” powers, and turning to the potential capabilities of the Iranian youth, instead.

The resolution then voiced strong objection to any negotiations on any topics with the American regime, citing the US’ unlawful withdrawal from the JCPOA and the escalation of its hostile policies against Iran.

It stressed that the country’s independence and dignity would be preserved only through reliance on domestic capabilities.

The resolution further called reaffirmed its support for nations oppressed under the US and the “fabricated, child-killing” regime of Israel.
