Representatives of 5+1 countries (refers to the UN Security Council's five permanent members, namely China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, plus Germany) are participating in the event underway in Beijing.
During the seminar, participants are due to exchange views on different issues including international nuclear cooperation within the framework of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
According to the scheduled program, AEOI deputy for International, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Behrouz Kamalvandi and his Chinese counterpart, along with Iranian Foreign Ministry's high-ranking officials and ambassador to China will attend the meeting.
The participants will exchange views on the relevant international events. Negotiating on the levels of cooperation in the relevant fields and visiting Iranian engineers and scientists from Chinese nuclear facilities are of the other sideline programs of this seminar.
Presently, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) is the adviser to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) in redesigning and modernizing Khondab Heavy Water Research Reactor.
