TEHRAN, Dec. 02 (MNA) – Senior Iranian commander Jazayeri said the country would vehemently reject any request for negotiation on the country’s missile program.

“The high level of our defense capabilities, as the main deterrent to the enemies of the Islamic Revolution, will always be on the path to progress,” Brigadier General Seyyed Massoud Jazayeri, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, said Saturday.

He went on to add, “in addition to the specific directive of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on increasing our defense capability, this is also a matter of common consensus among the Iranian nation and management structure.”

“We advise all those who talk about the Islamic Republic of Iran not to bother trying to meddle in our defense and missile program,” he stressed.
