Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj who has travelled to Iran, sat with Mohammad Javad Zarif on Saturday to discuss mutual development of relations.
Zarif pointed out the good, developing relations between the two countries and said “Shahid Beheshti port that has recently been inaugurated in Chabahar, enhances bilateral and regional relations, plays a central role in regional development and acts as a communication path connecting Asian countries to other countries around the world through the gulf of Oman and the Indian Ocean.”
For her part, the Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj stressed the necessity of enhancing ties and deepening and expanding relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The two Foreign Ministers also discussed regional issues.
