TEHRAN, Nov. 30 (MNA) - Giving speech in the third annual conference on Mediterranean dialogues Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Iran’s presence in Syria is based on the official invitation of Syrian government.

Addressing the participants, Zarif comprehensively spoke about different issues namely former Iraqi dictator Saddam’s invasion to Iran and the supports to him, the JCPOA, foreign policy of new US administration, support to ISIL, Taliban, Al-Qaeda and Al-Nusrah terrorist groups by some states, continuation of bombardment of Yemeni people, Iran’s presence in Syria based on Syrian government’s official request, investment of foreign companies in Iran, sanctions and external pressure on Iran which resulted in convergence of Iranian people and relying on internal potentialities, Iran’s post JCPOA economic transactions and investment of European, Chinese and Korean companies in Iran.
