“The US government cannot hide behind Congress decisions because to international community, the US administration is responsible to practice the Americans’ international commitments,” said Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, on Tuesday.
The Iranian top diplomat made the remarks in Parliament while responding to questions posed by Iranian law-makers.
“US domestic regulations are their own business but the international community holds the American government responsible for fulfilling the international commitments of US,” he highlightred, “it bears a prime importance.”
When he was asked what the prospect of the JCPOA will be and how the Iranian administration would react to recent threats of US President Trump, Mr. Zarif reassured that the final decision will be made in consistence with what Americans do.
“The main part of the Americans’ goal shows their malevolence,” underlined the Iranian diplomat. “Since the outset of Mr. Trump\s presidency, malevolence is visible in American foreign policy.”
