The Iranian diplomat who left South African capital city of Pretoria earlier on Tuesday, is now in Uganda’s capital, Kampala, where he is scheduled to hold talks with the East African country’s president and foreign minister on expansion of economic and political relations between the two counties.
Upon arrival in Kampala, Mr. Zarif was warmly welcomed by the local authorities and the Iranian ambassador to Uganda at the airport.
This is the second stop of the Iranian minister in his three-nation-tour of Africa which was started in South Africa and will be concluded in Niger as the last destination of his African tour.
