TEHRAN, Sep. 26 (MNA) – Iran and Armenia agreed on a joint protocol to regulated mobile phone frequencies of the two neighboring countries.

Iran and Armenia held the second meeting for coordinating the flow of mobile and TV and Radio frequencies where the two sides signed an agreement on a joint protocol governing the generation 2, generation 3, and generation 4 grid of mobile networks.

The overflow of signals in the borderline areas along with the issue of unwanted roaming and the ways to decrease it were also discussed in the meeting participated by Iranian and Armenian officials of telecommunication.

The two sides also brokered another agreement for coordinating the flow of UHF and VHF waves from the transmission stations in the areas off the common borderline.
