TEHRAN, Aug. 23 (MNA) – Iranian feature ‘Yeva’ will go on screen at Montreal World Film Festival 2017.

The flick stars many recognized actors and actresses from Armenia such as Narine Grigoryan and Shant Hovhannisyan.

Yeva, a woman who is under prosecution in connection with her husband’s murder, faces challenges in her life, the movie synopsis reads.

Farabi Cinema Foundation based in Iran is to represent worldwide rights for the movie by Anahid Abad.

The Montreal World Film Festival (MWFF) is one of Canada's oldest international film festivals and the only competitive film festival in North America accredited by the FIAPF. The public festival is held annually in late August in the city of Montreal in Quebec.
