TEHRAN, Jun. 20 (MNA) – Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi heading a high-ranking delegation will arrive in Tehran on Tue. to confer with Iranian officials on bilateral and regional issues.

Mr. Abadi will be accompanied by five ministers of his cabinet on this one-day visit. Prior to his visit to Tehran, the Iraqi prime minister had held talks with senior Saudi officials in Jeddah in his first visit to the Arab kingdom since he took office. He will then leave Tehran for Kuwait as the last leg of his three-nation regional tour aimed at 'fostering regional reconciliation', according to his office.

The Iraqi prime minister is scheduled to hold separate meetings with Iranian Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, President Hassan Rouhani and Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani.
