TEHRAN, Jun. 07 (MNA) – Iran’s FM Zarif got in touch with his Greek, Spanish and German counterparts by telephone exchanging views on regional developments.

In line with his negotiations on recent regional developments, Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif talked with Nikos Kotzias, the Greek Minister for Foreign Affairs, over the telephone.

Zarif also discussed the region’s latest issues in separate telephone conversations with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain Alfonso Dastis and Germany’s Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Sigmar Gabriel.

Previously, the Iranian foreign minister had held phone talks with a number of regional counterparts as well as EU’s Mogherini on Monday.

These negotiations by FM Zarif are taking place as a result of the cut in diplomatic relations of Saudi Arabia, alongside Bahrain, Egypt, Libya and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with Qatar on its alleged support of terrorism.
