Takht-Ravanchi made the remarks in a meeting with his Polish counterpart Joanna Wronecka, in Warsaw.
The Iranian and Polish officials also reviewed the latest regional and international developments, Syria and Yemen in particular, and called for settlement of crisis through the diplomatic means.
Takht-Ravanchi, who is currently in Warsaw at the official invitation of Wronecka, said following the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Iran-Poland relations have been expanded.
“Recently, we have witnessed an increase in exchange of political, parliamentary, economic, cultural and scientific delegations between the two countries,” he said.
Wronecka, for her part, expressed hope that the level of mutual cooperation could be increased in near future.
Touching upon Iran-Poland historical relations dating back to more than 500 years before, she added the Polish people have good memories and positive image about Iran for harboring and reception of Polish refugees during World War II.
Wronecka said Poland attaches great importance to expansion of all-out cooperation with Iran.
She reiterated that the implementation of JCPOA has paved the ground for expansion of ties between the two countries, stressing that the Polish companies are keen on boosting cooperation with Iran.
“We also have established a trade bureau in Tehran aimed at facilitating the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries,” she added.
Wronecka said the two countries enjoy huge untapped capacities to create and expand cooperation in fields of energy, oil and gas, food, nuclear medicine, green energy, environmental, transport, sea transport, shipbuilding, science and research, exchange of professors and students as well as cultural arenas.
She added the Polish government welcomes establishment of direct flight between the two countries.
The Polish official reiterated that holding joint economic commission would pave the way for expansion of cooperation between the two countries.
While in Warsaw, Takht-Ravanchi also held separate meetings with a number of Polish lawmakers and parliamentary officials.
