TEHRAN, Apr. 26 (MNA) – Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan who is in Moscow for the security conf., said the repeat of America’s past decisions in Trump’s administration can bring about uncontrollable consequences.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the 6th Moscow Conference on International Security, Brig. Gen. Dehghan said the new developments in the Middle East and other parts of the world, as well as topics on cyberspace, will be discussed during the conference which will kick off today.

“Discussions on Takfiri terrorism in Syria and Yemen and its spread across the Middle East are also on agenda,” he added.

The Iranian defense minister noted that discussions aim at arriving at a uniform understanding and position for taking steps toward settling issues.

“Since Donald Trump took office, certain decisions and previously-experienced approaches are being adopted which can lead to uncontrollable consequences,” he said.

Dehghan also referred to the second joint meeting with Sergei Shoigu and Fahd Jassem al-Freij, his Russian and Syrian counterparts, on the sidelines of the Moscow security conference, adding “during the trilateral meeting, various issues such as the developments in Syria and combating terrorism will be discussed so that the outcome of moves and measures will be in the interest of the Syrians and lead to a Syrian-Syrian solution.”

In addition to taking part in the conference expected to be attended by 700 participants from 80 countries, Minister Dehghan is slated to hold talks with a number of his counterparts on various issues.
