TEHRAN, Apr. 15 (MNA) – The 10th Iran Exhibition of Bank, Exchange & Insurance Exhibition (Finex 2017) as the biggest financial event in the region has kicked off in Tehran Sat. with a number of European and Asian countries in attendance.

Head of Securities and Exchange Organization Shapour Mohammadi, Central Bank Governor Valiollah Seif, CEO of Central Insurance of Iran Abdolnaser Hemmati, Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and Minister of Economy Ali Tayebnia were present during the opening ceremony of the event.

Iran Exhibition of Bank, Exchange & Insurance Exhibition, also known as Finex, is one of the major events that bring together all the companies operating in the financial sector under the same roof.

This year’s edition of the event is attended by 142 companies providing financial services, 38 investment and financial services companies, 15 insurance companies, 10 banks and credit institutions and 16 agencies.

Finex is a platform for building strong business network that will aid the business in the future. The event attracts a large number of visitors from across Asia and Europe with an intention to make professional investment decisions. 

The exhibition will be held to introduce domestic and foreign financial institutions' capabilities, and aims at improving the financial literacy of society and general culture; improving the country's financial industry and raising the level of interaction between companies; and enhancing international interaction of Iran's financial industry.

The 10th Iran Exhibition of Bank, Exchange & Insurance Exhibition will be held on 15 - 18 April 2017 in Tehran International Permanent Fairground.
