TEHRAN, Mar. 16 (MNA) – Foreign Ministry has hosted the 2nd session of Supervisory Body to address issues related to ballot boxes to collect Iranians’ votes in presidential elections of May 2017.

Mr. Hassan Ghashghavi, Consular, Parliamentary and Expatriates' Affairs, chaired the session which reviewed a description of duties of the Supervisory Body of presidential elections; it also selected Body’s head, secretary, and legal affairs official. 
The session also decided on the number of ballot boxes, voting centres, the members of executive and supervisory bodies, and countries to host the ballot centres. It also examined measures to maximize voter turnout and the security of voting centres, along with possible host country’s cooperation in smooth operation of the election process.
