TEHRAN, Feb. 21 (MNA) – Heads of National Olympics Committees of Iran and Kazakhstan inked a cooperation agreement on sidelines of OCA Executive Committee.

On the sidelines of the 69th Executive Board Meeting of Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) in Japan’s Sapporo, Head of Iran’s National Olympics Committee Kiyoumars Hashemi met and talked with his Kazakh counterpart Timur Kulibayev.

During the joint session between Iranian and Kazakh officials, development of sports was discussed as well as that a cooperation agreement was sealed between the two countries.

Under the agreement, in addition to stressing friendly ties in sportive fields, officials of both sides’ Olympic Committees are urged to spare no effort in promotion of sportive relations between Iran and Kazakhstan.

Moreover, according to the terms of the contract, exchange of sports delegations, experts and educators in areas of mutual interest was put on the agenda. On the other hand, it was decided that sports teams of the two countries be invited to participate in the other party’s tournaments and joint training camps.

In addition, the parties agreed to cooperate in exchanging information in the field of sports, sports medicine as well as anti-doping.
