Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who is in Munich for attending the 53rd Munich Security Conference, made the remarks in an informal meeting with a number of Iranian expatriates in Bayern and Baden-Württemberg states on Sunday.
“The presence of Iranians outside the country is an opportunity to introduce Iranian culture and civilization to the world. Iranians are the symbol of cultivation, diligence, integrity and respect for the law," he said.
“Iranians have shown through their resistance that they will not yield into threats,” he stressed.
Zarif referred to the significant status of Iranians in Germany, adding “the duty of all agencies of the Islamic Republic of Iran overseas is to defend the rights of Iranians and support Iranian entrepreneurs and experts in line with expanding economic and scientific cooperation with the world.”
The Iranian foreign minister further highlighted that efforts should be made in the fields of investment attraction, technology transfer, improvement of employment rate and people’s livelihood.
