TEHRAN, Feb. 15 (MNA) – Iran’s Hassan Rouhani has arrived in Kuwait City’s International Airport on Wednesday after leaving Muscat.

Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah welcomed President Rouhani officially. Visiting Kuwait is part of Rouhani’s tour of the Persian Gulf countries which also included Oman.

On the welcoming cohort were Kuwait’s heir-apparent, prime minister, and cabinet ministers along with other dignitaries. Iran and Kuwaiti national anthems were played by a military group of performers in the airport, and then Emir introduced welcoming officials to Mr. Rouhani as protocol demanded.

Rouhani’s agenda includes meetings with Kuwaiti high-ranking officials as well as a meeting with Emir himself in his palace.
