TEHRAN, Feb. 11 (MNA) – Iran will participate in CeBIT exhibition as one of the leading events for IT and communication technology worldwide, slated for mid-March in Hannover, Germany.

12 Iranian startups will showcase their latest achievements at a special hall designated for startup companies during the 5-day event from 20th March to the 24th March 2017 at the Hannover Congress Centrum in Hannover, Germany.

Back in July, Bagher Bahri, Deputy Director of the Computer Trade Union (CTU) said that the participation would improve the position of Iranian ICT companies around the world; “after a few sessions with CeBIT representative in Iran, now we are on the brink of signing a deal to give a chance to Iranian tech companies to enjoy international publicity in CeBIT in 2017; the movement is to revive the interests of Iranian companies. The international participation will give these companies leverage and confidence in presenting their products in a global platform,” he had said.

CeBIT is one of the leading events for IT and communication technology worldwide focuses on the IT innovations that are revolutionizing the business world and puts the spotlight on today’s most promising startups.

CeBIT covers all the most current market trends including cloud technology, IT security, big data and the Internet of Things. 

The trade fair includes a show and a conference program, talks by high-caliber speakers, panel discussions and an exhibition showcasing product innovations from all over the world.

Over 400 startups will take part in the IT event in Germany this year.
