TEHRAN, Jan. 29 (MNA) – Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich is slated for an official visit to Tehran next Monday, 6 February.

Mikhail Myasnikovich’s visit comes at the invitation of Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani.

Heading a delegation, the Belarusian official will hold talks during his three-day visit with Ali Larijani, President Hassan Rouhani, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Minister of Industry, and Mines and Trade Mohammadreza Nematzadeh on expansion of bilateral ties.

During the meeting with Belarusian new Ambassador to Tehran late August, President Rouhani noted that Iran and Belarus enjoy friendly relations and called for an increase in diplomatic exchanges between Tehran and Minsk.
