Hailing the unique role of Ayatollah Hashemi in Iran’s history and all his decisive and critical responsibilities in path of Iran’s development and progress, the message commends late politician’s prudence and preciseness in moving forward Iran’s foreign policy in critical points of the history; “Iran and the world would always remember him and Iranian nation would be grateful of his efforts.”
“I and all my colleagues in Foreign Ministry extend our condolences on this great demise to Leader of Islamic Revolution, Iran’s nation and particularly the family of Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani and pray for his soul to rest in peace,” concludes the message.
Head of Iran’s Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani passed away in a hospital in northern Tehran on Sunday evening due to a heart attack.
