TEHRAN, Dec. 26 (MNA) – Vice-President of Chinese National Technical Import and Export Corporation (CNTIC) has voiced readiness to launch collaboration with Iran Power & Water Industries Equipment & Services Export Company (SUNIR) in various fields.

CNTIC Vice-President Zhang Xu, during a visit to Iran’s SUNIR Co., pointed to his company’s extensive experience saying “we are active in main energy sectors and seeks to launch bilateral cooperation with major Iranian companies like SUNIR by opening a bureau in Tehran.”

He referred to his company’s accomplished project in Iran saying “CNTIC is also active in port projects like harbor construction and supply of relevant equipment.”

“CNTIC has carried out projects in countries like the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Iran, Russia and a number of African and regional countries,” he continued.

Xu further expressed readiness for banking cooperation to support projects and investments.

SUNIR President Bahman Salehi said there existed proper grounds for partnership with international companies given the wide range of activities undertaken by the Iranian firm.

He stressed that SUNIR was ready for cooperation and investment in Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

SUNIR is presently implementing 18 projects in 13 world countries and in recent months inked a contract for construction of wind power plants with a capacity of 60 megawatts in Kazakhstan.
